Our Location
The New Mexico Arts office is located at 407 Galisteo Street, Suite 270, Santa Fe, NM 87501. The office is on the second floor of the Bataan Memorial Building.
Parking
There are four options for on-site accessible parking at the Bataan Building. The main accessible parking location is north of the building, accessed by the vehicle entrance on West DeVargas St, located between Galisteo Street and Don Gaspar Avenue. There are 6 ADA parking spaces including two van accessible spaces. The nearby entrance includes a ramp from the parking lot and a power-operated door into the building. Other accessible parking:
- There are 3 ADA parking spaces on the east end of South Capitol Place. Here is a Google Map link to this location.
- There are 3 ADA parking spaces on the west end of South Capitol Place. Here is a Google Map link to this location.
- There are 3 ADA parking spaces including one van accessible space in the small courtyard just north of South Capitol Place. Here is a Google Map link to this location. NOTE: At January 2025, this area is fenced off for construction, making these ADA spots currently unavailable.
Entrance
The accessible route of access from the parking area to the entrance is located on the north side of the building. Here is a Google Map link to this location. There is a ramp from the parking lot to the power-operated door, located on the east side of the big tower. An elevator is located just inside this entrance.
Other routes:
- A second power-operated door is located on the south side of the building, near the small courtyard north of South Capitol Place. Here is a Google Map link to this location. NOTE: At January 2025, this area is fenced off for construction, making the power-operated door currently unavailable.
- A second elevator is located near the power-operated door above, inside to the right past the stairs. when exiting the elevator on the 2nd floor, there is a steepish ramp to the left.
- A third elevator is located on the west side of the building. Note that this elevator is accessed on the first floor by going through a heavy, non-powered door.

Service Animals
Dogs and other animals which qualify as Service Animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcome at New Mexico Arts.
Under the New Mexico Service Animal Act of 2013, Emotional Support Animals and pets are not considered service animals. Emotional Support Animals and pets are not permitted at New Mexico Arts. For more information, see the Service Animal Overview from the New Mexico Governor’s Commission on Disability.
Restrooms
Accessible public restrooms are available on the first and second floors of the Bataan Memorial Building.
