Santa Fe Pro Musica
Aimee T. Espeset has worked at Santa Fe Pro Musica for three years. She coordinates education programs, arranges musician travel and accommodations, coordinates volunteers, sells concert tickets, staffs the box office, provides customer service, and oversees office operations. She plays a significant role in the presentation of youth education programs and helps to ensure that performances take place through her work with musicians’ travel and lodging. She supervises all organization volunteers and helps distribute tickets to underserved groups.
Espeset has worked with the New Mexico Coalition of Charter Schools, and has worked in furniture project management.
Espeset grew up in Santa Fe, and is the mother of two children. She is a an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, teaching weekly catechism classes, and is a volunteer classroom parent at Santa Niño School. She has volunteered on the Governing Council for Academy and Technology and Classics, local charter school, as well as other organizations including Boy and Girl Scouts of America, Santa Fe Animal Shelter, and MoveOn.org.
Santa Fe Pro Musica presents a varied repertoire of music from the last four centuries including works for chamber orchestra, chamber ensemble, and large-scale oratorios. In addition to concerts by its Chamber Orchestra and Baroque Ensemble, Santa Fe Pro Musica presents world-renowned solo artists, while also offering audiences the opportunity to hear up-and-coming young performers.
Santa Fe Pro Musica educational outreach programs introduce New Mexico residents, including thousands of local schoolchildren, to classical music, and encourages them to learn, perform, and create.
