Herb Denish, Albuquerque, Chair

Music is the major arts focus for Commissioner Herb Denish. He received a voice scholarship in Music at UNM, where he worked his way through undergraduate and graduate school with the Herb Denish Trio, performing around the state and at the Miss New Mexico Pageant in Hobbs. Denish sings with the Duke City Sound, an award-winning men's four-part harmony group in Albuquerque. He has raised funds for numerous arts organizations, including the New Mexico Symphony in its early years and the Hiland Theatre for Musical Theatre Southwest (MTS) in Albuquerque.
