High Road Artisans
An avid supporter of artists, Dawn Wright serves as the Executive Director for High Road Artisans, an organization that provides vision, direction, and tools for artists in communities along the High Road to Taos. She coordinates the annual studio tour, marketing activities, manages financial information for the board, and administers grants and contracts. She has a strong administrative background in nonprofits and small businesses. Wright previously worked with an educational nonprofit that provided training and technical assistance to teachers and schools across the Southwest. She has a B.A. in Humanities. She is deeply committed to the goals of organizations and individuals who promote arts and education, demonstrated in her work to support the rural arts of Northern New Mexico.
High Road Artisans is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support artists in the villages along the High Road to Taos. Their projects include the High Road Marketplace, a year-round cooperative selling the work of over 100 artists from High Road villages; the annual High Road Art Tour featuring 183 member artists at 51 sites; and the High Road website.
